The VP Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving new business growth for data assets for the OptumRx Pharmacy Businesses across Brand, Specialty, and Biosimilar product classes. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. This role involves defining and executing long-term strategic goals for data asset partnerships with prospective clients, leading negotiations and agreement discussions with external partners in coordination with a cross-functional team including Product, Operations, Legal, Sales, and Finance. You will leverage your understanding of the market landscape to identify manufacturer's growth products, solving prospective client gaps by aligning data product offerings to value drivers. In this position, you will foster innovation to refine product offerings, collaborating with product development to recommend product enhancements to solve identified client gaps (Pharma, Payers, Aggregators). Building trusting relationships with executive-level clients is crucial, maintaining credibility through high integrity interactions, a solid customer focus, and quality execution. Compliance with all company and government policies, regulations, and business ethics codes is expected. Responsibilities
• Define and execute long-term strategic goals for data asset partnerships with prospective clients.

Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in Pharma Data Sales, Healthcare or B2B.
,
• Demonstrated experience in strategic business relationship development.
,
• Experience building trust and communicating effectively to C-suite leadership.
,
• Experience leading customer-facing presentations and information discovery that supports the successful delivery to clients.
,
• Experience managing and acquiring new clients.
,
• Experience working with cross functional teams across a matrixed organization.
,
• Experience and knowledge working with data asset platforms.
,
• Track record of successful sales & analytics experience with data products, preferably with pharma and/or data aggregators in the US at a senior level.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience managing the sales process for a full range of products with a data aggregator like Iqvia, DRG, etc.

• Experience working for Pharma, leading a data analytics team that drives brand strategy.
