By teaching clients how to create, optimize, and use their own content throughout the marketing and sales process, we help them eliminate reliance on outside agencies and drive sustainable growth.Job Description:As VP of Content & Demand Generation, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of marketing strategies that drive IMPACT’s growth. Your role is to create data-driven, high-impact plans that increase event registrations, boost book sales, and generate a steady stream of sales-qualified leads. You will lead a team to execute across multiple channels, including content, social media, PR, digital campaigns, website optimization, and conversion strategies.Key Responsibilities:

Content & Demand Strategy: Develop and oversee a comprehensive content strategy that increases awareness, generates qualified leads, and directly drives revenue.
Event Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to consistently achieve (and exceed) our event registration targets.
Book Marketing: Lead innovative marketing strategies to hit and surpass our monthly sales goals for Endless Customers.
Lead Generation: Own and optimize strategies across channels (email, social, paid, website, PR) to achieve consistent monthly SQL targets.
Strategy Creation & Oversight: Set clear, actionable plans for your team to execute, ensuring each marketing activity is aligned, measurable, and contributes meaningfully to pipeline growth.
Requirements

Proven track record in lead generation, funnel optimization, and accelerating pipeline growth.
Expertise in paid media strategies (Google, Meta, LinkedIn).
Experience marketing and promoting books on Amazon (listing optimization, ad campaigns).
Success driving registrations through strategic event marketing.
Mastery in content marketing: content audits, SEO, conversion optimization.
Proven record in scaling podcast and YouTube channel performance significantly.
Experience expanding brand visibility and conversions through targeted social media strategies, especially LinkedIn and Instagram.
Deep understanding of email marketing best practices to engage rather than overwhelm audiences.
Strong website optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) capabilities.
Ability to align all marketing initiatives within defined brand guidelines.
Experience integrating offline strategies (speaking engagements, partnerships) to enhance marketing performance.
Highly analytical and comfortable making data-driven marketing decisions.
Proficient in popular marketing platforms, including CMS/Marketing Automation (preferably HubSpot), ad platforms like Meta, Amazon, Linkedin, and Google, social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc), Google Analytics, CRO tools (Hotjar, Optimizely, etc.), ChatGPT (incl. Building CustomGPTs), YouTube Studio, and more.
No task too small - willing and able to do whatever task is needed to help the department achieve its goals, including but not limited to: creating content, analyzing data and running reports, crafting messaging or website copy, or building site pages.

Ability to effectively communicate with executives, securing buy-in and aligning leadership around marketing initiatives.

While the role is remote, candidates must reside in Connecticut and be within driving distance of our Cheshire, CT office for periodic in-office collaboration and content creation.Working hours are typically between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time to align with client schedules, as this is a coaching-focused role. However, we offer flexibility for independent work outside of client meetings, allowing you to manage your schedule when tackling project-based tasks.Travel is minimal but may include occasional trips to visit clients, typically no more than a few times per quarter. Additionally, travel will be required to attend IMPACT’s conferences, held twice a year. These events are a great opportunity to connect with clients, colleagues, and the broader community we serve.
