Position: VP/GM - Amazon
Top Beauty company is looking for a highly-motivated Amazon General Manager / Vice President to join the team.
This is a fast-paced role, which encompasses working in a highly collaborative and cross functional
organization to deliver rapid growth in a new and exciting channel for the company. The Amazon VP/GM will be a subject matter expert on all things Amazon with specific focus on the Amazon Marketplace.
This individual will be able to leverage knowledge of the platform to deliver on channel's KPIs of broad audience engagement, efficient acquisition costs and significant revenue growth.
This individual will serve as the business owner and create, advocate and implement strategies utilizing his/her expertise of Amazon and the Amazon Marketplace to achieve our financial goals. This individual's focus ison driving results and will have a proven track record of doing so within the Amazon platform and the Amazon Marketplace.
This role reports to the SVP of Ecommerce and is full time and remote. While remote, this role may travel up to 5% of the time including but not limited to team meetings, Quarterly Business meetings, & company-sponsored events.
Responsibilities:
Β Manage the Amazon business end-to-end, including oversight of budgeting, P&L, and strategic growth
planning.
Β Develop and implement an ASIN strategy focused on category segmentation, lifecycle management,
and portfolio optimization.
Β Handle product detail pages (PDPs) with optimized content, A/B testing, and conversion tracking.
Β Interface directly with Amazon teams to address operational concerns, manage escalations, and secure
promotional placements.
Β Monitor Seller Central inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levels.
Β Coordinate with the supply chain team to forecast inventory needs and reduce overstock or stockout
risks.
Β Oversee Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) models for efficiency.
Β Create and optimize Brandstore, A+ Content, including Premium A+ modules, for enhanced product
visibility and conversion rates.
Β Maintain the online catalog with accurate and updated pricing, images, videos, and enhanced brand
storytelling.
Β Manage customer service operations via Seller Central's communication tools, ensuring timely
resolution of customer queries and disputes.
Β Implement strategies to improve customer experience and improve/increase and manage reviews to
maintain a positive account health rating.
Β Organize sales events (eg Prime Day, Black Friday) and collaborate with internal teams for aligned
messaging and strategies.
Β Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ASIN performance, ad spend ROI, and overall account
health.
Β Present detailed weekly and monthly reports to executive leadership, identifying trends, risks, and
opportunities.
Β Hire, train, and mentor team members to build a high-performing Amazon team.
Β Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing Seller Central and ad campaigns.
Β Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and brand registry protection initiatives.
Β Be on the forefront of new tools and beta opportunities that could benefit the channel.
Qualifications:
Β Bachelor's Degree (preferred not required)
Β 10+ years in an Amazon-centric position with deep expertise in Seller Central
Β Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Β Analytically minded with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Β Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present account performance to
senior leadership
Β Creative thinker and problem solver - eager to roll sleeves up
