Lead and manage the engineering team at Dropbox Dash, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
Develop and implement a strategic vision for the engineering department, aligning it with the overall goals and objectives of the company.
Drive innovation and encourage a culture of experimentation to bring new ideas and features to life.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and leverage them to improve and optimize engineering processes and practices.
Monitor and manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for engineering initiatives.
Identify and address any potential risks or issues that may impact the engineering team's performance or product delivery.
Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
Represent Dropbox Dash at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's engineering capabilities and thought leadership.
Act as a role model and advocate for Dropbox's core values, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
