Job Description:This role is remote-friendly.We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Customer Data Platform (CDP) Lead to lead our go-to-market strategy and lead pre-sales excellence for our CDP solutions. This senior leadership role will position Merkle as the premier CDP partner, working with enterprise clients to architect data-driven customer experience transformations.ResponsibilitiesGo-to-Market Strategy and ExecutionDevelop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for CDP solutions across enterprise segmentsLead market positioning and competitive differentiation initiatives for Merkle's CDP offeringsDrive thought leadership and market education around CDP best practices and emerging trendsEstablish strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships to expand market reachPre-Sales LeadershipLead complex pre-sales engagements for enterprise CDP implementationsConduct executive-level presentations and solution architecture sessions with C-suite prospectsCollaborate with sales teams to develop compelling proposals and RFP responsesDesign proof-of-concept demonstrations and pilot program strategiesClient Engagement & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with enterprise prospects and existing clientsBe a trusted advisor for CDP strategy, implementation, and optimizationLead discovery sessions to understand client data challenges and our goalsGuide client workshops and strategic planning sessionsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing CDP pre-sales and solutions teamDevelop team members in CDP technologies and sales methodologiesFoster collaboration across sales, delivery, and product teamsEstablish best practices and standardized processes for CDP engagementsYou will report to SVP.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with 5+ years in CDP or marketing technologyExperience building and executing successful GTM strategiesPre-sales experience with enterprise B2B technology solutionsExperience with CDP platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Tealium, Segment, etc.)Experience with data integration, identity resolution, and customer journey orchestrationExcellent presentation and communication skills with C-level executivesDemonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teamsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience consulting firms or systems integratorsTechnical background in data architecture and marketing automationIndustry certifications in major CDP platformsExperience driving revenue growth in technology solutionsThe annual base salary range for this position is $196,000-$316,250. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
