Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to improve learners' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help learners build confidence in their literacy skills.
Regularly assess learners' progress and provide feedback to help them track their achievements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Age 18 or older
Patience, empathy, and ability to motivate and inspire adult learners
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique challenges faced by adult learners from diverse backgrounds
Reliability and commitment to volunteering
Willingness to undergo a background check and necessary training provided by TLC
