Visual/Graphic Designer (hybrid)
About the position IntelliBridge is seeking a Visual/Graphics Designer to support a federal agency by creating visual concepts that communicate ideas effectively. This hybrid role involves developing layouts and production designs for various applications, including advertisements, brochures, and reports, while working closely with technical subject matter experts to visualize complex data for cybersecurity stakeholders. Responsibilities • Create visual concepts using design software to communicate ideas that inspire and inform. • Develop overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports. • Recommend, create, and maintain digital media products including info-graphics, presentation visuals, newsletters, posters, and animated videos. • Assist technical SMEs in visual design for mission-critical program objectives. • Visualize data innovatively to translate complex topics into accessible narratives for stakeholders. • Develop and maintain design layouts and templates for various mediums. • Provide graphic development and support for print and digital communication products aimed outside the agency's OCIO. • Support ad hoc marketing, policy, and guidance materials using Microsoft and Adobe products. • Provide printed and digital documentation during Tabletop Exercises to facilitate communication. • Create visual representations of concepts and ideas in both print and electronic media. Requirements • 3+ years of experience with design software including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. • Expert knowledge of current design software and principles of design. • Experience with the entire design process from concept to final deliverable. • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to develop designs within an established style guide. • General understanding of cybersecurity standards. Nice-to-haves • Desire to continue building skill set with education and training. • Video editing experience with Premier Pro or After Effects is a plus.
