Visual Design Expert

Overview: Mercor is partnering with a leading AI-driven lab to benchmark and improve current AI Models by analyzing and refining visual design and typographic content. We’re assembling a bench of creative experts to craft and evaluate high-impact visual and textual experiences across web and mobile surfaces. • * You’re an ideal fit if you… - Have experience in one or more of these areas: product/UI design, editorial or magazine layout, brand/visual systems, digital publishing, or book production. - Possess deep knowledge of type hierarchy, grid systems, and visual storytelling (can explain why the micro-typography matters as much as the macro-layout).- Combine strong online research habits with the ability to synthesize guidance. - Communicate crisply in writing. - Have high attention to detail. - Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • * Here are more details about the role: - You’ll collaborate directly with Mercor coordinators and the client’s research/design leads. - Start dates are rolling; we aim to onboard qualified experts within a few days (1-2) of application. - There is up to 40 hours of work available per week. -The work is fully remote and asynchronous so it can flexible and subject to your schedule.-This project length is scoped to last a minimum of 2-3 weeks with potential extensions. • * With respect to pay and legal status: - You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor. - We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect. • * Screening Process: - You will need to complete a short interview and form which will take a total of 20-30 min to complete. - Currently, only accepting applicants from the U.S., UK, and Canada. • * About Mercor Mercor specializes in recruiting experts for top AI labs and is based in San Francisco, CA.Our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D’Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
