As a Visiting Professor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and experience with students who are passionate about advancing their careers in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and facilitate online courses, providing regular feedback and guidance to students
Engage students in meaningful discussions, evaluating their progress and comprehension of course content
Exhibit Chamberlain Care by displaying behaviors of care, respect, and professionalism, creating a culture that fosters collaboration and respect among all
Bring your professional experience to life through professional development, introducing industry perspective into courses and sharing information about nursing trends and opportunities with students
Promote student success by demonstrating flexibility in style, schedule, and exhibiting your passion for teaching
Requirements:
MSN and DNP or PhD in Nursing degree (doctorate must be conferred)
Active compact nursing license
2+ years of experience as an academic DNP project faculty advisor
Online teaching experience required
Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses
Excellent written communication skills and familiar with APA
Outstanding motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
