Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students needs and eligibility for special education services.
Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet each students unique learning goals.
Provide engaging and effective direct instruction and support through our online platform, ensuring each student makes progress.
Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Maintain thorough records and documentation of student progress, services delivered, and all communications.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Educator.
Comfort and proficiency with virtual instruction tools and technology.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build meaningful connections in a virtual environment.
A dedicated, student-centered approach to delivering high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
