Location: Fully Remote
School Year: 2024-2025
Contract Type: 1099
Student Needs: Working with students with diverse disabilities
Caseload Information: Provided during the interview
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, working closely with parents, school administrators, and other professionals.
Use a range of assessment tools to track student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enhances student engagement.
Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to ensure effective integration and accommodations in the mainstream classroom.
Apply various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Track and document students progress, behaviors, and achievements; maintain detailed records and reports.
Engage with parents and guardians to maintain open communication and involve them in their childs educational process.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Teaching/Special Education
Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Minnesota
Experience with special needs students preferred
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and staying current with special education practices
Familiarity with virtual learning environments preferred
