Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide individualized support to students in Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement personalized learning plans, adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to ensure consistent support and communication.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
Modify teaching methods, materials, and instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address behavioral challenges
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and communication regarding student progress
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Special Education
Active teaching certification in Minnesota
At least 2 years of special education experience (virtual experience a plus)
