Virtual School Psychologist Remote, South Dakota
About the Role:
Were seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide virtual services to K12 students across South Dakota. This role is fully remote and centers on evaluations, IEP team collaboration, and supporting schools in meeting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of their students.
If youre experienced in school-based services and comfortable working independently, this is a great opportunity to continue doing meaningful workwithout the commute.
What Youll Do:
ā¢ Conduct psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations using digital tools
ā¢ Write comprehensive, legally compliant evaluation reports
ā¢ Participate in virtual eligibility, IEP, and student support team meetings
ā¢ Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to recommend strategies and supports
ā¢ Offer consultation on behavior plans, interventions, and accommodations
ā¢ Ensure all timelines and documentation meet district and state requirements
What You Bring:
ā¢ Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (Ed.S. or equivalent)
ā¢ Active South Dakota School Psychologist license or certification
ā¢ Knowledge of special education law and IEP processes
ā¢ Proficiency with virtual assessment platforms or willingness to learn
ā¢ Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
ā¢ Secure, professional home office setup with reliable internet
