Virtual School Counselor – Pennsylvania; RF
Position: Virtual School Counselor – Pennsylvania (RF: 1899) We are currently seeking a certified School Counselor for a flexible, part-time or full-time, virtual position supporting cyber school students across Pennsylvania during the school year. Caseloads are customizable, allowing you to build a schedule that aligns with your availability and preferred service model. Eligible candidates must hold the appropriate Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in School Counseling. Qualifications: • Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Department of Education School Counselor Certification • Experience providing counseling services to K-12 students in virtual or school-based settings • Strong knowledge of child/adolescent development, social-emotional learning, and college/career readiness practices • Must have valid Pennsylvania clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background) Responsibilities: • Provide individual and group counseling sessions virtually to support students’ academic, personal, and social-emotional development • Deliver preventative programming, guidance lessons, and workshops tailored to the needs of cyber school students • Collaborate with virtual school staff, teachers, and families to promote student engagement, well-being, and academic success • Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings to provide input on counseling-related goals and services • Offer virtual crisis intervention and support to students in urgent need • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school, state, and legal requirements At Humanus, we are devoted to making a difference and improving the lives of others.
