Position Overview
We’re hiring a Remote Patient Scheduling Coordinator to manage scheduling for both new and existing patients. This role involves coordinating in-office and telehealth appointments, MRI and physical therapy referrals, and ensuring accurate, efficient communication between all parties involved in a patient’s care.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule new and follow-up appointments promptly (telehealth and in-office)
Coordinate MRI and physical therapy referrals per provider orders
Manage provider calendars and daily patient flows
Communicate with patients, attorneys, providers, and referring clinics
Track pending referrals, approvals, and follow-ups
Maintain accurate records in EMR systems
Support scheduling team as needed
Qualifications
1+ year experience in medical scheduling, patient coordination, or a similar healthcare role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting
Proficient in EMR systems (DrChrono or MoveDocs experience is a plus)
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Availability during Eastern Time (ET) business hours required
