looking for someone to fill the position of a Virtual Pathology
Transcriptionist work in the U.S. only.
JOB TYPES: MUST be a U.S. citizen. Flexible.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Transcribe and/or edit pathology dictation by physicians and other
healthcare providers in order to document patient care.
? Must consistently produce client-ready documents in accordance with
standards set forth in the AQuity Quality Program without the
assistance of the quality assurance specialists for completion of
reports due to transcribing in the customers specific platform.
? Delivery of customer ready documents consistent with the standards
defined in the AQuity Quality Program.
Transcription, including editing of dictated jobs processed through
speech recognition technology, of pathology dictation by pathologists
and/or other healthcare providers, including the use of medical
references, websites, quality feedback, and other educational
materials to consistently ensure 99.5% or higher accuracy without the
assistance of the quality assurance specialists for completion of
reports due to transcribing in the customers specific platform.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of pathology terminology to further include
anatomy and physiology, disease processes and laboratory values.
Minimum of two years of recent documented and positively
referenceable pathology transcription experience.
Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices.
Proven skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, style, and
editing. Ability to use designated professional reference materials.
Ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and
transcription equipment, and other equipment as specified.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Perfect collaboration and teamwork skills.
Aptitude to work under pressure with time constraints.
Ability to concentrate and excellent listening skills.
Outstanding eye, hand, and auditory coordination.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Home office set-up.
? Cell phone capable of sending and receiving text messages and
downloading apps.
? High speed internal Internet (NO satellite).
? USB-Infinity foot pedal (DVI USB foot pedals not compatible).
Headphones.
? Windows 10, Intel I3 or better processor/AMD K4 or better, 8 GB of
RAM minimum, and 250 GB hard drive minimum.
PAYMENT: $20.00 per audio hour transcribed. Video/audio file lengths
range from 30 minutes to 2 or more hours.
