VIRTUAL MONITORING ATTENDANT - PART-TIME NIGHTS (24 HRS)
Join Trinity Health of New England as a Virtual Monitoring Attendant (VMA) and be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering top-level care to our community. As a VMA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients through continuous monitoring via remote camera technology.
Job Summary:
Maintain visual observation of up to 12 patients at all times, monitoring patient behaviors and movements, and verbally redirecting patients as needed through a digital 2-way audio device.
Support the plan of care for patients requiring virtual monitoring and document incidents, reporting any potential threats to patient safety.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, colleagues, and nursing staff in a courteous, positive, empathetic, and professional manner.
Schedule:
Onsite at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT
24 hours part-time nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
24/7 work environment, rain or shine
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Able to function independently and manage own time and work tasks
Healthcare experience preferred
