Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, remote position to support students at a K-12 school district we partner with.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs.
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment.
Utilize a variety of digital tools and resources to engage students and facilitate learning.
Maintain detailed records of student progress and communication.
Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Special Education
Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License.
At least 2 years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and technology.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
