Virtual Intake Coordinator for Behavioral Health Group Practice
We are a growing Behavioral Health Clinic based out of San Diego with two locations offices and 32 Behavioral Health Providers. We are also in the process of opening an office in Los Angeles. Our team is growing quickly, and we are seeking a talented, organized, and friendly virtual Intake Coordinator to join our team!
We require someone with great customer service experience to help triage new clients to the appropriate therapist based on an evaluation of the therapists background and availability. The ideal Intake Coordinator is detail oriented and will effectively track inbound calls, verify clients eligibility, and respond to phone calls and emails in a timely fashion (within 24 hours excluding weekends). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
This will be an hourly position requiring approximately 15 20 hours per week (between the hours of 8AM-2PM PST) with the potential to increase as the practice continues to grow. Pay will be in the range of $15.00 - $18.00/hr based upon experience. Training will be offered and a 90-day trial period will be required.
Required Duties:
· Answering live calls
· Timely phone / email communication with potential clients
· Scheduling new clients
· Verifying Insurance benefits
· Verifying Authorizations with insurances
· Following up on denied claims
· Contracting and credentialing new insurance panels
· Invoicing / billing
· Weekly reports
