Virtual Hiring Event Join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist during our virtual hiring event on Tuesday, October 21st from 10 AM - 2 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our direct care staffing needs at Newport Healthcare’s Residential Programs in Shingle Springs, CA. Key Responsibilities • Ensure client safety and build strong therapeutic relationships. • Facilitate group activities and support clients with individual challenges. • Document progress and share insights with the team. • Lead daily activities, from chores to meals, and maintain a supportive environment. • Supervise medication self-administration and manage detox safety. • Coordinate community outings in company vehicles. • Stay current with trainings and certifications. Pay & Benefits Pay: $19 - $23 per hour (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem (On-Call) Shifts: AM, PM, Overnight (inclusive of both newer and experienced staff) Competitive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Tuition Reimbursement, Flex Spending, and more. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required. • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred. • Prior experience in behavioral health treatment settings a plus. • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage for company vehicles. • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within the first 30 days. Compensation Compensation ranges from $19-$23 per hour, dependent on education and experience. Pay is determined by skills, experience, education, and market conditions, with internal equity considered to ensure fairness.
