Virtual Event Moderator
We are expanding and adding talent to join our moderator team. We are looking for someone who can communicate and display professionalism on camera, work easily with staff members, speakers, and sponsors, and has knowledge and/or experience within the scientific industry.
Responsibilities
We are expanding and adding talent to join our moderator team. We are looking for someone who can communicate and display professionalism on camera, work easily with staff members, speakers, and sponsors, and has knowledge and/or experience within the scientific industry.
Moderate virtual presentations both on camera and audio only, including introductions and live Q&A
Provide constructive and intelligent ideas and opinions on the content/scripts for each of the presentations being moderated
Attend trainings from personal computer with staff, speakers, and sponsors to prepare for the live event
Attend and moderate pre-recordings from personal computer of speakers presentations (when necessary)
Attend and moderate live broadcasts of presentations from beginning to end
Actively work with the LabRoots production and marketing team
Desired Qualifications & Skills
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications & skills ...
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Science related field
Knowledge of the life sciences, clinical diagnostics or medical industry
Strong verbal skills
Strong on screen presence
Able to provide a professional environment for on camera viewing
Able to provide a personal computer with hard wired connection
Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with serious work ethic
