CPA firm in Orlando Florida is seeking to hire a VIRTUAL CONTROLLER to join our largely remote team of tax and accounting professionals! This is a remote position.
We have been in practice since 1994 and are a team of 14.
We have a strong focus on International taxation, complex real estate transactions, and controllership.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service by providing solutions to our clients in the most efficient and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Experience with Thomson Reuters Workpapers CS is required
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
-Financial Statement preparation
-Approving monthly financial statements
-Training and coaching clients
-Training and reviewing work of Bookkeepers
-Project Management-entire accounting department
-Ability to help staff and clients clean up accounting records
What you will Bring:
· experience in both public and private accounting.
· Ability to problem solve accounts of companies who have grown from a million to over 10 million very fast and whose books and records are a mess;
· assist bookkeepers on keeping the books straight and accurate on a monthly basis.
· strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Peachtree as well as larger programs such as Great Plains or SAP.
· Proficient in MS Excel, Word
· Great judgment and ability to go the extra mile to satisfy clients
