Virtual Assistant (Social Media & Content Creation) – Wellness Brand
Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Virtual Assistant to support our social media content creation and light administrative tasks.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate a brand voice into compelling content, enjoys working with wellness businesses, and is comfortable using AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
About Us
Soma Lux Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio based in Dripping Springs, TX, known for intelligent movement, personalized instruction, and a warm, welcoming environment.
We offer private sessions, small group classes, and workshops using a full range of Pilates equipment. Our brand emphasizes thoughtful teaching, high-quality experiences, and helping clients move with strength, confidence, and longevity.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media (Primary Focus)
• Create and schedule Instagram and Facebook content (posts, captions, stories)
• Repurpose content across platforms (newsletter, blog, social)
• Edit and format content using Canva
• Use ChatGPT (or similar tools) to assist with content drafting and ideation
• Maintain brand voice: educational, warm, and elevated (not overly salesy or generic)
• Organize and utilize studio-provided photos and videos
• Assist in developing a consistent content calendar
Administrative Support (Secondary)
• Light email support or drafting responses
• Formatting documents, newsletters, or client communications
• Organizing digital assets (photos, videos, content folders)
• Occasional research (local partnerships, events, etc.)
Requirements
• 2+ years experience as a Virtual Assistant or in social media/content roles
• Strong experience with Canva, ChatGPT or similar AI tools, and social media scheduling platforms (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Experience creating content for small businesses (wellness/fitness preferred)
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and attention to detail
• Native or highly proficient English required
• Ability to take direction and also think proactively
• Organized, reliable, and responsive
Compensation
$20-25/hour (based on experience)
Estimated 3-8 hours per week to start, with potential to grow
