About this project
We are a new California-based classical music performance organization seeking a smart, resourceful, and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our early-stage growth. Our focus is on building meaningful community connections, producing concerts, and attracting funding through donations and grants. You will play a key role in helping us gather information, explore opportunities, and build relationships.
Project overview
Position: Remote, freelance/contractor position ~20 hours per week Flexible hours, but must have some overlap with Pacific Time (California) business hours Long-term opportunity for the right person Responsibilities: Conduct online research (venues, grant opportunities, artistic collaborators, etc.) Make exploratory phone calls to organizations, venues, or vendors Summarize findings and present actionable recommendations Maintain clear records of contacts, calls, and research Assist in outreach efforts (emails, scheduling, light follow-up) Requirements: Excellent written and spoken English Strong research and critical thinking skills Confident and professional phone presence Highly organized and self-motivated Internet access and ability to make U.S. Calls (Google Voice or similar) Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and basic online tools Experience in or passion for music, arts, or cultural fields is a plus Compensation: USD $7–10/hour, based on experience and location Paid weekly via Wise, Payoneer, or preferred method To Apply: Please apply using this Google Forms link: https://forms.gle/xELzYi78agSciFAZ9
