Job Title: Virtual Research Assistant – Payment Plan Finance Providers (One-Off Project) Overview I’m looking for a detail-oriented virtual research assistant to complete a one-time research project. The goal is to find and shortlist the best finance / payment plan companies we can use to offer our customers 6–12 month payment plans (e.g. providers similar to Affirm, Klarna, etc., including UK options). You will be responsible for researching options, submitting enquiry forms, and booking calls on my behalf. Key Responsibilities Research finance / payment plan providers (BNPL, consumer finance, etc.) that: Allow businesses to offer 6–12 month instalment plans Work with companies in the UK (and potentially other countries if relevant) Create a shortlist of the best options with key details, such as: Countries they operate in Types of businesses they accept Fees, interest rates, and payment terms Onboarding requirements and documentation needed Submit enquiry / application forms to selected providers on my behalf (using information I provide). Book calls with relevant sales or partnership teams: Find the correct contact or booking link Schedule calls in my calendar at suitable times Keep everything organised in a simple spreadsheet or document, including: Provider name Website link Contact details Status (researched / form submitted / call booked / rejected, etc.) What I Need From You Strong research skills and ability to find accurate information online Good written English for submitting forms and emails professionally Comfortable filling out online forms and following instructions carefully Ability to work independently and move the project forward without constant supervision Experience with: Google Docs / Google Sheets (or similar tools) Booking calls via Calendly or similar tools (nice to have) Confidentiality – you’ll be handling some basic company info when submitting forms Project Details Type: One-off project (could lead to more work if it goes well) Goal: Deliver a shortlist of viable finance partners + calls booked with the top options Output: A clear comparison document/spreadsheet List of forms submitted List of booked calls (with dates/times and links) Apply tot his job
