Virtual Assistant (Part-Time) – VA Assessment Experience Required (URGENT HIRE)
About Us
We are a growing clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our patients. We are urgently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) with experience in Veterans Affairs (VA) assessments to support our team with administrative tasks and client coordination. This is a part-time remote position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
• Support providers in preparing, reviewing, and processing VA Disability and Compensation assessments
• Coordinate VA-related documentation and ensure all required forms and reports are complete and submitted on time
• Maintain confidential client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Manage scheduling, email correspondence, and communication with veterans and VA representatives
• Assist in intake and follow-up processes for veterans undergoing assessment
• Conduct basic data entry, document organization, and file management tasks
• Track and update case progress, deadlines, and deliverables
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the clinic’s operations
Requirements
• Prior experience supporting VA Disability or Compensation assessments (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards
• Professional, courteous, and empathetic demeanor when dealing with veterans and sensitive health matters
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting
• Familiarity with VA.gov systems or eBenefits
• Background in medical administrative support or case management
Compensation
$16–$20 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
