Video Editor for YouTube, Short-Form, and Podcast Content (Ongoing Role – Persaud Media Group)
Persaud Media Group is seeking a talented and reliable Video Editor to join our growing media production team. We produce high-quality video content focused on real estate, lifestyle, and personal brand storytelling — including cinematic home tours, engaging short-form social clips, and professional podcast episodes. We’re looking for an editor who’s creative, adaptable, and passionate about bringing stories to life through video. What You’ll Do - Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–30+ minutes) and short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts). - Edit podcast videos with clear audio syncing, camera switching, and branded overlays. - Create scroll-stopping thumbnails that align with our visual style. - Incorporate music, motion graphics, b-roll, captions, and smooth transitions. - Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized social media clips. - Follow and enhance brand consistency across all content. - Communicate with our team via Slack and track tasks in Asana. (Provided) ⚙️ Requirements - A reliable computer setup and fast internet connection capable of handling large files and 4K 60 FPS footage. - Basic to intermediate experience with Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. - Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement. - Strong attention to detail and organization. - Ability to meet deadlines and take feedback constructively. - Comfortable using Slack (for communication) and Asana (for project management). Tools & Support - Access to Motion Array for licensed music, templates, and motion graphics. - Google Drive Folder with Storage for Videos and Assets - Brand assets, style guides, and content references provided. - Collaborative support from our in-house creative and production team. Compensation & Terms - Pay: $500/month (flat rate). - Type: Ongoing monthly role. - Schedule: Flexible — no set hours, but projects must be completed on a timely basis - Growth: Opportunity to increase pay and take on larger creative roles over time. Bonus Skills (Not Required but Highly Preferred) - Experience in color correction, sound design, or motion graphics. - Understanding of YouTube SEO, retention strategies, and thumbnail optimization. - Familiarity with real estate, lifestyle, or brand storytelling content. - Ability to use AI tools that we provide (e.g., for captions, clip generation, color grading, or motion graphics). - A passion for keeping up with the latest editing trends, tools, and social media formats.
