Video Editor for Engaging Short-Form Content (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels) - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a talented and creative video editor to join our team and produce engaging short-form content for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. As a video editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage and scripts into polished, high-quality videos that captivate and entertain our audience. You will edit and enhance raw footage, adding effects, transitions, motion graphics, photos, videos, soundtracks, and captions to create visually appealing and attention-grabbing videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, be proficient in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro), and have experience creating content specifically for short-form platforms. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our content creators and social media team.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a portfolio of work on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

- Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring proper format, resolution, and aspect ratio.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, and what makes content successful on these platforms.

- Have excellent storytelling skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
