Video Editor - Docuseries on Immigration Stories (Remote/Hybrid Based in Washington, DC)
We are looking to contract multiple video editors for 2-3 weeks (approx. July 21, 2025 - August 4, 2025) for a docuseries hosted by a large content creator (6 episodes, 180 minutes total) to highlight the lived experience of immigrants to the United States. The aesthetics will be akin to a documentary, however each episode would only feature 1-2 interviews and limited B-roll, so the editing will be less intensive than a typical documentary. Our team has primarily worked on podcasts, so we are looking for an editing team with the versatility to fit a docuseries aesthetic. Since the project will involve a team of 6-10, you must be able to work collaboratively with producers and other editors on storyboarding, scripting, aesthetics, and revisions.
We will pay a flat rate of $3600 for each editor over 2-3 weeks with the expectation of around 120 hours of work total. The production is based in Washington, DC. Talent based in the DMV area are welcome to work a hybrid schedule, but this is a remote position and telework is perfectly fine.
