This position will have significant responsibility and impact within the organization and will be considered part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT). The VP of Prenatal Sales will have full P&L/budget responsibility and will oversee a large team of 150+ reps, managers, and area directors, generating $200M+ in annual revenue, revenue that is continuing to grow exponentially YoY.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive adoption of Unity Complete™ and related prenatal testing solutionsResponsible for building and scaling the sales team structure, including; hiring and developing sales representatives, managers, and directors. Lead, mentor, and support Sales Directors and their regional teams to drive performance and growth.Drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targetsDesign and implement territory expansion plans to maximize market coverage and sales efficiencyCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and seamless execution of go-to-market strategiesBuild and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, major healthcare systems, and strategic accountsProvide regular reporting and insights to Executive Leadership Team on market trends, competitive landscape, and sales performanceContinuously refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies to increase effectiveness and scalabilityFoster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organizationRepresent BillionToOne at industry conferences, trade shows, and other external eventsQualifications:15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the laboratory/diagnostics industryExperience building and managing a team of 100 or more sales representatives through a multi-layer team structureProven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teamsExperience scaling sales organizations in high-growth environmentsExperience in specialty molecular diagnostics is a must-have; women's health and/or prenatal market is preferredDeep understanding of healthcare provider sales cycles and decision-making processesDemonstrated success in territory expansion and sales infrastructure developmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExperience presenting to executive leadership teams and boardsBachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferredKey Attributes:Ambitious mentality with a strong sense of urgency and bias toward actionQuick learner with appetite to master the business and product inside outHands-on leader who embodies a "no job too big or too small" mentalityAbility to build authentic trust at all levels within the organizationDeep passion for Unity testing and BillionToOne's missionGenuine commitment to team development and people-first leadershipExceptional relationship builder with high emotional intelligenceCreative problem solver with a solutions first mindsetEffective communicator who can deliver difficult messages while maintaining team moraleHumble approach, free from ego and not seeking personal spotlightAdditional Details:Location: Flexible, with preference for Central or Western USTravel Requirements: Extensive (approximately 50%) including field work, office visits, executive leadership meetings, headquarters visits, and quarterly manager meetingsFor more information about how we protect your information, we encourage you to review our Privacy Policy.About BillionToOneBillionToOne is a next-generation molecular diagnostics company on a mission to make powerful, accurate diagnostic tests accessible to everyone.
