We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive business growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in strategic planning, brand management, and customer acquisition. The VP of Marketing will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with sales and operations to ensure alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies that align with business goals, emphasizing customer acquisition, retention, and brand development.
Lead Generation & Campaigns: Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing for digital (SEO, SEM, social media, email), traditional (direct mail, print, TV), and grassroots channels.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms, building a strong and recognizable presence in the turf management and home services industry.
Digital Marketing Leadership: Oversee digital efforts, including content marketing, paid advertising, website optimization, and social media strategy to enhance online engagement and conversion rates.
Customer Retention: Develop and implement loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and personalized marketing strategies to improve retention and customer lifetime value. Partner with customer service to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Analytics: Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize strategies, and report on KPIs such as lead quality, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on marketing investment (ROMI).
Partnerships & Sponsorships: Build strategic relationships with local businesses, influencers, and organizations to expand market reach and visibility.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor a talented marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Market Expansion: Conduct market research and develop targeted strategies to support geographic growth and entry into new markets.
Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, operations, and customer service teams to align strategies and support revenue growth.
Customer Insights: Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity to inform and refine marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: 8-10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in home services, landscaping, or a related industry.
Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated success in multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing, SEO, PPC, content creation, and social media.
Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with a focus on innovation and measurable results.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data and metrics to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, CRM systems, and marketing automation software.
