The Company is seeking a VP for Brokerage Construction in the Primary & Excess - E&S Specialty. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a passion for creating and managing plans that align with customer service and business goals. This role is pivotal in the development and execution of underwriting guidelines, product management, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth and development of the E&S Specialty Brokerage Construction Primary & Excess Casualty industry, leading a team of managers and underwriters, and driving the exploration and delivery of innovative product solutions.
Applicants should have a minimum of ten years of experience in the E&S Brokerage Construction Casualty marketplace, with a strong preference for a Bachelor's degree and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. The VP will be expected to have deep knowledge and expertise in the Primary & Excess Construction Casualty line of business, advanced communication, relationship management, and team building skills, and the ability to drive results by identifying and resolving significant problems. The role also involves full management accountability for staff, talent development, and succession planning.
