In this position, you will serve as a vital technical resource for veterinary professionals, providing expert guidance on product operation, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal performance of veterinary diagnostic equipment. Vet Tech Product Specialist • Full time, 40 hrs./week • Temporary • $19.50/hour • Benefits available What You’ll Be Doing • Support veterinary teams by incoming phone calls, email, and chat to resolve questions and technical issues related to diagnostic equipment. • Walk veterinary teams through analyzer troubleshooting, setup, and software integration, all with empathy and professionalism. • Coordinate with internal teams during equipment installations or escalations. • Use internal systems and product documentation to identify solutions in real time. • Play a key role in keeping animal patients healthy by ensuring accurate test results reach vets on time. What Makes You a Great Fit • You enjoy technology and have a knack for learning new systems (bonus if you’ve supported lab equipment or animal diagnostic tools). • You're confident using computers and navigating software systems (Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.). • You’re a strong communicator who can explain technical solutions clearly and calmly. • You're reliable, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment. • You’re energized by helping others and love solving problems that make a real-world impact. Preferred Background • Experience in veterinary clinics, animal diagnostics, or tech support roles. • Education in Veterinary Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields is a plus. • Familiarity with lab equipment (ProCyte, Catalyst, inVue Dx, etc.) is a strong advantage. • An associate or bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or scientific (Biology/Chemistry/etc.) discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
