Meet your team
You will report to our Head of Vendor Management, supported by a team of Sales Associates, and Account Managers, joining a well-oiled and hard-working team. As a Vendor Partnerships Manager in supporting the Boston and Philadelphia area, you'll be building Choco's recognition and value across your territory.
This position is a remote position. You'd be supporting the Boston and Philadelphia areas and joining a company that is primarily in-office. To ensure collaboration, traveling to a Choco office in New York or Chicago 1-2 times per quarter will be expected.
What youll do
Like an entrepreneur, find creative and efficient ways to acquire new vendors
Manage day to day suppliers relationship and communication
Meet suppliers and spend most of the day on the field with them
Analyse business insights and turn them into action plans to develop Choco suppliers presence
Use your passion for the food industry to stay aware of events, trends, competitors and industry developments
What were looking for
You have a strong experience in a Sales / Purchasing / Partnership role within the food industry.
Experience negotiating commercial agreements
Remarkable communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly. You can put yourself in the shoes of the CEO of a big supplier firm but also in the shoes of a tiny farmer's marketing in Los Angeles
The ability to understand the broader picture and to come up with the best strateg yand focus on the execution.
Bilingual Spanish language skills
