Vendor Management Representative - US Remote

We are a full-service recovery operation, connecting lenders and repossession agents to facilitate quicker and more compliant recoveries. Our technology is nothing without the people behind it. We are looking for a dedicated, focused, professional, and dynamic individual to be a vital part of the Vendor Management Team at MVTRAC. You will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with Repossession Agents. Your primary objective will be to support the Vendor management processes of increasing Agent performance and compliance. Responsibilities • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new repossession Agents based on predefined criteria and business needs. • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication channels and alignment with company goals. • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to assess vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). • Coordinate repossession activities when needed to ensure timely and compliant vehicle recovery. • Monitor and manage repossession assignments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal and industry regulations. • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk in repossession operations. • Establish and enforce quality standards for repossession procedures and vendor performance. • Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to repossession activities and vendor performance. • Generate reports and insights to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement. • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes in the automotive repossession industry. • Ensure vendor compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements • Strong understanding of repossession processes, legal requirements, and compliance standards. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive results. • Experience with collateral repossession. • Collections, asset recovery, and repossession experience would be beneficial. • High level of experience using G-Suite, MS Office, and related applications. Nice-to-haves • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for tracking and managing vendor relationships such as Recovery Database Network (RDN), Recovery Connect, and RISC.
