VAN/ Independent Contractor/Owner Operator/ On Demand
Thank you for your interest in our job posting on Indeed. Our company is Lightning Fast Services, Inc. and we are expanding into your area. We are a delivery company based in New Jersey, but we provide services for our customers throughout the country. We are looking for independent contractors/owner operators or established companies that have cargo vans and are experienced in hot shot and long-distance driving. Our company provides immediate responses to our customers. Therefore, we are seeking contractors and/or companies who are situated within 30-40 minutes of the airport, so that we may respond quickly for pick up. We receive calls from our customers 24/7/365 but our peak call times are evenings, overnight, and/or weekends.
Although the work may be inconsistent, we have found it lucrative for van work. Our pay rates are pre-set by location. If you are interested, we will provide our payment sheet of all the most popular deliveries to be reviewed and signed. Our reimbursement rates are non-negotiable. Please be aware we do not reimburse for toll costs, parking, or maintenance costs. Most of our work is picked up from and delivered to the airport’s hangars or stock rooms. The bulk of the packages are small items, but some may be large and require a van (this will be communicated ahead of time).
Lightning Fast Services Inc. does utilize a mobile application for delivery details upon acceptance of a delivery. That app is called Ontime360. The application can be used on any smart phone and is user friendly. This will be a requirement to be used on any delivery for LFS.

Once your documentations and application are received, we will call you to discuss the position further, as well as any questions or concerns you may have. We require our independent contractors to have 300k commercial auto coverage, occupational accident insurance and 20k cargo. These insurances are available for purchase from Open Force (an enrollment website) and can be automatically deducted from your settlement.
