Valuator – Valuation Specialist
About us: DCI Solution is a leading provider of Specialty Valuations for Specialty Vehicles. We serve the insurance, transportation, financing, consumer, and related industries. Valuation Specialist (Valuator) Job Overview: Work from home conducting research to determine the fair market value for commercial vehicles and other assets for loss claims, underwriting, or other valuation purposes. Research will include internet resources, our own database, and communication with dealerships and other outside resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Establish fair market value of commercial vehicles and other assets • Update and validate vehicle information from dealerships, customers, and research • Maintain relationships with dealers and claim adjusters • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: • Solid computer skills with a strong background in Microsoft Office programs • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred • Experience and/or knowledge of automotive, commercial, power sports, or recreational vehicles. • Customer service experience, preferably with an insurance or automotive organization • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle multiple assignments and completing them, in most cases, in 24 – 48 hours • Desktop or laptop computer (preferably with dual monitors) • Reliable high-speed broadband internet service required • Smart phone Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of the vehicle insurance/claims industry • Previous experience working from home Position Benefits: • Work from home (Full-Time Position) • Independent Contractor (1099) • Commission based - No selling required Paid training will include: • Use and knowledge of our Valu-Rite System • Additional Microsoft products, such as SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams • Terminology and definitions of all services and components of DCI Solution DCI Solution provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
