Job description: Vaco Los Angeles is working with a great entertainment, who is looking to add a payroll associate to their fun and loose environment. This position requires the preparation, processing, and maintenance of basic payroll responsibilities. This position is perfect for someone looking to plant their roots and grow with a stable company.
This role is full time in Century City, CA. HYBRID schedule with 2 day/week WFH
Duties and Responsibility:
Support with payroll processing (primarily biweekly)
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of full cycle payroll functions
Help with payroll functions including data entry, timesheet review, reconciliation and payroll related record keeping
Verify all pay statements during preview for accuracy and process adjustments if necessary
Process pay tax adjustments
Qualifications/Must Have:
Experience with FLSA Laws and Regulations
3-4 years experience
Intermediate excel functionality
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled at decision-making and problem-solving
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
Workday experience is a PLUS
