UX/UI Frontend Designer + Developer

Nexufend is revolutionizing enterprise network security with a groundbreaking distributed firewall that provides process-level visibility. Founded by entrepreneurs who built Safing (4th fastest-growing open-source startup in 2022), we're scaling our B2B security platform. We're seeking a User Experience and Interface Developer to craft intuitive interfaces for our network security platform. You'll work across our Dashboard UI (Svelte), Grafana integration (React), and supportive components, transforming complex security data into accessible, user-friendly experiences. Working directly with our CTO, you'll have significant creative freedom to shape how IT administrators interact with cutting-edge security technology. Tasks Dashboard User Interface (60%): • Design and implement the main dashboard UI using Svelte • Create intuitive workflows for network security management • Build responsive, performant interfaces for real-time data visualization • Develop process-to-process connection visualizations • Implement device management and configuration interfaces • Work with Go backend APIs to integrate frontend functionality Grafana Integration & Apps (30%): • Develop custom Grafana dashboards and panels using React • Build custom applications for data visualization and analysis • Optimize performance for large-scale netflow data visualization Supportive Tasks (10%): • Maintain and improve existing HTML/CSS/JavaScript components • Ensure consistent design language across all interfaces • Support documentation and technical writing • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions General Responsibilities: • Design intuitive user experiences and action flows • Work independently and self-motivated on assigned features • Engage proactively in the creative process with forward-thinking solutions • Collaborate with backend developers on API design and integration • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code • Contribute to UI/UX strategy and design decisions Requirements Must Have: • Strong sense for user experience and intuitive action flows • Proven ability to design and implement user interfaces • Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks • Proficiency with Svelte or similar reactive frameworks • Experience with React or willingness to learn • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals • Ability to work independently and self-motivated • Forward-thinking approach and engagement in creative processes • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Nice to Have: • Experience with Golang (for backend integration) • Familiarity with Protobuf for API communication • Knowledge of SQL/Postgres for data handling • Experience with data visualization and monitoring tools • Understanding of network security concepts • Experience with Grafana development (plugins, panels, dashboards) • Background with B2B SaaS products • Experience designing for technical/admin user personas • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices • Experience with Docker and containerized applications • Contributions to open-source projects Benefits • Competitive salary with equity options • Flexible remote work within the EU • Shape the product experience from the ground up • Significant creative freedom and ownership over UI/UX decisions • Work with experienced founding team with proven track record • Modern tech stack with cutting-edge technologies • Professional development budget • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture • Direct impact on product development and company growth • Be part of revolutionizing network security • Work on cutting-edge cybersecurity technology • Join at early stage with significant growth potential • Help businesses worldwide protect critical infrastructure • European-based company aligned with EU data protection standards Ready to revolutionize network security?
