About the positionThe UX UI Sr. System Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for advanced in-system configurations, user requirements documentation, and system design specifications. This role involves project management for departmental initiatives, ensuring client satisfaction and business success on supported applications, and leading system releases and enhancements. Responsibilities • Perform advanced in-system configurations. • Participate in the identification, review, and documentation of user requirements and system design specifications.• Coordinate and execute configuration implementations. • Ensure business success and client satisfaction on supported applications. • Act as a project manager for departmental projects and initiatives. • Lead system releases, bug fixes, and enhancements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, or a similar area. • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role. • Expert knowledge in laboratory systems such as ELN, LIMS, etc.• Experience with process improvement, system implementation, and change management. • Ability to lead as a subject matter expert for technical systems. • Experience with computer system lifecycle, system testing, validation, and iterative agile design and development process.
