UV Printer Technical Support Specialist

LogoJET is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join the team. The Technical Support Specialist position provides technical support of UV printers, software, and printing applications to existing and new LogoJET customers to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Help customers troubleshoot and resolve printer problems via telephone, email, and in person. Create detailed documentation of customer communication and support resolutions in CRM Attend to open tickets in the system, including logging cases, documenting time spent on calls, issue resolution and customer response Ability to take different calls and handle unique situations. Exercise strong judgment to determine the appropriate course of action and follow issues to resolution. Ability to provide excellent customer service and customer communication Make decisions on behalf of the business with consideration on Customer Satisfaction and Internal Technical Support When not traveling, daily remote support shifts are eight hours in duration and scheduled within the 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST time frame Installation and training of new equipment and software remotely and at customer's location. This install will require inspection, setup, and calibration of equipment to manufacturer standards. Provide operator training for the customer which includes daily use, applications, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of the equipment Conduct onsite repair of printers as needed to ensure downtime is minimized Assist customers with unique or new applications by providing technical and creative solutions Travel to Trade Shows to provide support by educating prospective customers and assisting with custom product demonstrations Skills 1+ years of experience with digital print technologies, RIP software, or design software applications Mechanical inclination, self-motivation, and excellent problem solving skills Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask, work through obstacles, and collaborate with a team Willingness to travel 50% or more Fluency in English, Spanish a plus Ideal candidate would reside in FL, TX, GA, IL, NJ, NY within access of a major airport Technical Support/Help Desk: 1 year (Required) UV or industrial digital printer repair and maintenance: 1 year (Required) Willingness to travel: 50% (Required) Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Company Overview Since 2005, LogoJET has helped thousands of businesses bring printing in-house and unlock new revenue streams.
