Utilization Review Counselor (Remote- Must reside in IL)

Position Purpose: Help to coordinate Managed Care services. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of assessment/admission services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field or a nursing license • Five years experience in behavioral health treatment • Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed • Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling • Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources • CADC Certification (or CARS Certification) or ability to obtain • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment Responsibilities • Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. • Provide managed care and utilization review support for inpatient and outpatient adolescent or adult services. • Provide financial case management support in conjunction with Patient Accounts Representative . • Maintain communication with Patient Accounts Representative and assist in communicating with families to insure 100% client funding. • Maintain accurate, up-to-date system of managed care contacts utilizing the system designated by Rosecrance. • Participate in daily capacity management meetings and communicate funding changes as they affect the treatment team. • Compile and submit reports on activities of Managed Care as directed. • Serve as a member of the Access Team and participate in all team meetings and • Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of • Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance. • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. • Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. • Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management Schedule • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) • Shift: 1st shift Work Location Rosecrance Mulford Office– Rockford, IL. • Work Mode: (Remote- Must reside in IL) Compensation & Rewards (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials) Base Pay: Bachelor's $50,835.20 a year, Master's (Qualified Mental Health Professional) $57,761.60 a year Additional Pay Enhancements In Addition To Base Salary Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72/hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized) 1st Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW): +$0.87/hour (equivalent of +$1,800 annualized) 2nd Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): starting at +$2.16/hour (equivalent of +$4,500 annualized) Our Benefits Rosecrance values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package for you and your family: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plan options to meet your needs) • 401(k) with employer match & discretionary contribution • Group Life Insurance, LTD and AD&D • Tuition assistance & licensure/certification reimbursement • Paid Time Off, sick time, bereavement leave • Referral program earning up to $1,000 per hire! • Wellness program, including an on-site gym at select facilities • Discounts at participating retailers • Daily pay available through UKG Wallet for financial flexibility Who We Are Rosecrance has been at the forefront of providing behavioral health services for over a century.
