Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking a resourceful and resilient Seasonal Utility Technician to join our team at Summit Station, Greenland, for a unique winter experience. Dates of Employment: Approximately October 15, 2025 - February 15, 2026

ā¢ Remote Living: Be part of a small, tight-knit team of 5 at the isolated Summit Station.

Responsibilities:
ā¢ Perform comprehensive facility utilities maintenance.
ā¢ Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
ā¢ Utilize construction materials, tools, and methods effectively.
ā¢ Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.
ā¢ Contribute to the daily operations of Summit Station, including shared cooking and cleaning duties.
ā¢ Adapt to a flexible work schedule based on weather and operational needs.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Minimum of four (4) years of documented experience in facility utilities maintenance.
ā¢ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
ā¢ Proficiency with construction materials, tools, and methods.
ā¢ Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental structures.
ā¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
ā¢ Valid United States Passport.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
ā¢ EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, NATE certification, NITC certification; HVAC Excellence.
ā¢ ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) certifications.
ā¢ Previous accredited OSHA training.
ā¢ Experience with commercial/industrial facility maintenance and construction.
ā¢ Experience with low voltage controls and wiring.
ā¢ Previous experience in remote, cold, and/or polar environments.
Work Schedule:
ā¢ 9-hour days, 6 days per week, with Sundays off.
ā¢ Occasional additional hours as needed.
ā¢ Schedule flexibility based on weather and work requirements.
