Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Utility Planner to join our fast-paced Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and help shape the future of our infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of utility systems. This role requires a deep understanding of surveying, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement utility plans for various projects, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field surveys to gather data necessary for the planning and design of utility systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure utility plans are accurately integrated into project designs.
• Review and interpret utility maps, site plans, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all utility planning activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on utility planning activities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in utility planning and surveying.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility planning or a related role, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Proficiency in surveying and utility planning software.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, construction methods, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A valid professional engineer or surveyor license is a plus.
