Utility Design Administrator
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Utility Design Assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with customers and handling applications, data entry, and simple projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, though specific experience in utility design is not required. We are willing to provide training for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Start the workday at the work center, review emails, and pull customer applications.
Return information to customers and route applications through the process.
Answer phone calls and provide information to customers.
Assist in basic utility design.
Show customers design layouts and discuss electrical wiring and connections.
Work with a small team in a dynamic environment and adapt to various personalities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of utility or construction based experience.
Strong soft skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities.
Basic knowledge of electrical trade or construction trade.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal direction.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience working with a major utility in any role.
Experience performing entry-level to moderate utility designs.
Experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or Maximo
