American Transportation Services has an immediate opening for qualified trailer/tractor technician. Qualified candidates must be a self-starter with the ability to work remotely with little to no supervision. We provide a friendly & stable work environment primarily focused on day shift hours M-F. Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining trailering equipment as well as performing minor external repairs on yard spotting equipment (switchers) for a Fortune 500 package delivery company. Must be qualified to perform state and federal inspections. Experience in: trailer/mechanic (similar) a plus Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Perform FAI and State required inspections. Inspect and repair āSā cam air brake systems. Diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems. Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies in all potential aspects. Familiar with Cummins Insight Diverse diagnostic skills Roll-up Door experience Minor body work experience AC experience a plus
