Key Responsibilities: Driving UX Forward Coaching and Mentoring (20%): Lead interview exercises, determine cultural and team fits, and align resources to products. Coach junior UX resources and mentor team members for career development, ensuring our team continues to grow and thrive. Delivery and Execution (40%): Model and ensure consistency of deliverables, driving UX strategy through artifacts like experience maps and service blueprints. Lead synthesis and facilitation activities, ensuring seamless execution across product areas. Planning and Strategy (40%): Communicate insights and opportunities, driving the value of UX across experiences. Display situational adaptability, stepping in to drive change in products to better align with user needs or organizational goals. Drive UX practice across experiences, domains, or product groups, combining user research outputs with business objectives to articulate a clear vision. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 6 years of work experience, with 5+ years of experience working with agile software development teams. A bachelor's degree in a field related to UX or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence business and product leadership. Proficiency in UX design thinking, research methods, and design best practices. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive engagement and ensure accountability. Preferred qualifications include: 10+ years of work experience in UX, with a proven track record of driving UX excellence. 1+ year of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop talent and manage conflict. A strong background in UX research, design, and strategy, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
