The Sales Manager is a strong sales hunter who understands complex consultative sales processes and long-term relationship within a complex international environment to grow the business. A team player who utilizes and facilitates his/her account team to build multilateral relationships with customers. By offering value-added solutions this role is meant to build long lasting relationships and ensures strong customer focus.

To grow the business, this individual will obtain sales opportunities and generating leads by:
• 1. Managing relationships with international key accounts (OEMs, System Suppliers, System Integrators and/or Aftermarket Accounts)
• 2. Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling.
• 3. Identify potential and acquire new customers.

Requirements
• Proactively identifies new opportunities for new and existing customers and converts these into long-term delivery contracts.
• Builds and sustains long-term relationships with customers, visiting customers and attending trade fairs.
• Is known as the professional consultant offering the customer the value-add engineered actuation solutions.
• Is responsible for improving the organization’s value proposition and translating this towards the customer.
• Approaches customers together with field application engineers, engineering, and other relevant internal stakeholders.
• Facilitates the interaction between Customer organization and organization through all disciplines and levels.
• Develops and maintains an account strategy (in accordance with the business strategy and sales plan).
• Translates the account strategy into project execution. The key account will be managed via the CRM system SalesForce.
• Coordinates and leads complex commercial negotiations (within established margins, budgets, and commercial conditions).
• Interacts and coordinates with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.
• Obtaining information and knowledge about market (developments), competitors, prices, products, and shares this information with the internal organization for growth and business development purposes.
• Provides content to the department Marketing & Communication to improve findability online for potential customers.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in commercial, business administration, economics or engineering.
• Seasoned sales professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in consultative selling and large account management.
• Experience selling Engineered Solutions for an agricultural, automotive, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience selling HMI Displays, Gages, & Clusters is highly desirable but not required.
• Prepared to work with a mature internal support organization.
• Team player, able to work in multidisciplinary projects teams.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally in English.
• Knowledge of and experience with value selling in an international B2B technical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and highly resistant to change and stress.

Technology/Equipment: Experience using Microsoft Office Products.

Travel: Should be located near a major metropolitan airport to support regular travel. Willingness to travel (50-60%).
