POSITION OVERVIEW is seeking a physician to provide high quality patient-centered, comprehensive virtual specialty service in California.
• Participate in the selection of a suitable treatment plan for all patients
• Supervise other medical staff to ensure the care team is providing appropriate care in accordance with their duties and obligations
• Be proactive in ensuring adequate follow up of patients and their concerns (will be facilitated greatly by our technology and care coordinators)
• Provide continuous availability for medical questions to the patient
Requirements:
• Daily job is a remote task, but provider MUST still have an active California medical license. Additional licenses are preferred and welcomed.
• Part-time commitment of 4 hours per month. Monday through Friday, between the possible hours of 7am to 5pm.
• Clean background and medical malpractice history
• Telemedicine experience is preferred but not required
• Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker
• Position is contractual.
Education/Board Certification/Licensure
• MD or DO
• Board-Certified
• Clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Graduation from a US medical school or foreign medical school with Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of post-residency professional experience. Pediatrics is a plus!
• Medical license in good standing
• Pharmacy license in good standing
