Project Manager (FORGE Metals) - Forge Metals, LLC - West Jordan, UT - work from home job Company: Forge Metals, LLC Job description: Description: Project Manager Job Brief Description Responsible for the overall management of a project during its various stages of its life cycle. This consists of initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure. They report directly to the Project Executive and is expected to have experience in all steel disciplines. Note: the following responsibilities and requirements are typical for the job description. Daily activities may vary based on circumstantial needs and changing business practices. FORGE may aid in and/or provide resources and materials for employee development and advancement, however any arrangements for training, practice, and testing not mandated by the company will be the responsibility of the employee. Project Manager Responsibilities • Maintain and monitor all financial aspects of the project • Prepares, submits and coordinates change order submittal and execution • Creates a project budget and is capable of projecting cost to complete the job • Interfaces with General Contractors, Subcontractors, shop manager and Field Superintendent to determine the scheduling of work, sequencing, erection, and materials • Visits to job sites as needed and required • Meets and confers with Owner, Architect, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, and Field crews to verify accuracy and completeness of all construction drawings • Reviews plans and proposals and determines proper procedures to accomplish company/department goals • Ensure all aspects of projects are properly and thoroughly documented • Project scheduling • Manage all detailers and subcontractors' scope of work and execution • Contract management • Mentor Assistant Project Managers PM22 Requirements: Project Manager Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, Business, or the equivalent work experience of 3 years as a Construction Project Manager • Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings and Project Design Documents • Professional conduct, Self-Motivated, relatively independent • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, BIM platforms, Bluebeam, Procore, and CMIC • Proven ability to manage several large commercial, industrial, and residential projects while meeting stringent deadlines • Recognize, communicate, and verify detailing errors with Lead personnel when discovered on Drawings/Plans • Able to provide guidance for newer employees as requested by lead and supervisory personnel • Perform other duties as required PI201870565 Project Manager (FORGE Metals) - Forge Metals, LLC - West Jordan, UT - work from home job Expected salary: Location: West Jordan, UT Project Manager (FORGE Metals) - Forge Metals, LLC - West Jordan, UT - work from home job Job date: Mon, 23 Jan 2023 05:27:20 GMT Apply for the job now!
